Toxic Positivity
Finding your people
The majority of people in this world are friendly.

Me on a Chick-fil-A line with no car
I recently went on a solo trip to orientation week for my college.
I was exhausted after a long day of walking around, and a 7+ trip.
So I decided to order Chick-fil-A for dinner.
But when I arrived at the restaurant, I realized that it was after dine-in hours.
My only option was to order through the drive-thru.
The problem? I don't have a car.
I was starting to feel defeated, but then I had an idea.
I walked up to the drive-thru window and explained my situation to the workers.
They were understanding and let me pick up my mobile order.
Humans are selfish by nature.
Due to our baby stages, we can comprise others and get anything we want.
Yet, we are wired to help each other (like the Chick-fil-A goats)
This is what we did in tribes back in the old ages of the world.
I don’t like people who say they hate people.
Regardless of whether it is true or not it does not get you anywhere.
You are saying that people are bad, yet you’ve met 0.0001% of the population.
Saying you don't like people is ignorance and immorality.
It is not that people are not friendly; it is that the people you have met were not nice.
If you think the current place you live does not appreciate you.
Switch places.
To explain this concept there is a famous story where a lady wants to sell her dad's old car.
She goes to a pawnshop and they offer her $100 because it is an old car.
Then she goes to a used car shop and they offer her $1,000 because it looks worn out.
Lastly, she goes to a car meet and she gets offered $100,000 because it was an iconic car.
"If you are not valued, do not be angry, it means you are in the wrong place. Those who know your value are those who appreciate you. Never stay in a place where no one sees your value." -
The moral of the story is that good is around you.
You have to find it.
Have a good week soldiers.
